- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Our pitbull Oscar passed away on June 8, 2013 and was totally unexpected. It was a terrible morning and still can't get over it. Several years ago we had to put down our other pitbull Renee. We had Renee cremated by Veterinary Aftercare Services as that is the service our Vet recommends. We called Veterinary Aftercare Services at 10AM on Saturday morning. Our call was answered by Jeff and his compassion was immediately recognized through the phone. He let us know that he could accomplish whatever our desires were & we asked if Oscar could be picked up. Jeff was here 15 minutes later. It's not easy letting go of a dear friend, but Veterinary Aftercare Service had cremated Renee, so we felt very comfortable allowing Jeff to take Oscar. Oscar was returned 4 days later in a beautiful lazer etched cedar urn with nameplate. We also chose to have a framed paw print which is the most wonderful item on my desk at work. Everyone comments on how beautiful it is. I also received a jewelry urn necklace with a small amount of ashes that hangs around my neck, close to my heart.
